The principle of the FOUR TRACK MIND SERIES is to invite bands/artists to produce 2 songs on a Tascam Porta Studio 244 - 4 Track CASSETTE RECORDER (You remember? Before the war?)
The cover artwork - simply antiquated - varies from issue to issue in the colors. Series who deserves series… cover printing: Screen printing 2 colors. Artwork: Zomber

4 TRACK MIND VOL 01:
Performers of the first episode, are BLACK HEINO, the four-tailed cat of the Berlin music scene, who let heads roll in an attempt to head up Rock & Roll - even their own! This rocks immensely and leads to an unbalanced mixture of garage rock and carport punk. They call it deconstructive Rhythm & Blues, but keep calm: it's only Rock & Roll.
SIDE A: Pfaffenbrot
He who pays the piper calls the tune! If work is our religion, then Pfaffenbrot is its high priest. Pfaffenbrot is a song that bears the name of a vocational counsellor who involuntarily became the godfather of this piece in the fight for daily bread. The unpleasant Executive inspired this ballad of the unemployed cultural worker, which deals with the variation of an old theme: "Look to heaven, you are free - unemployed and having fun with it?
SIDE B: Schuesse
"Schuesse" is a cover version of the MAGAZINE classic "Shot by both sides", which deals with the life of the provocateur in the crossfire of political arguments. But unlike Howard Devoto's Original, the scene here was transposed into the digital age and the lyrics are told from the point of view of an internet troll.
